📍Lake O’Hara, Yoho National Park. 🏕️ This place 📍Lake O’Hara, Yoho National Park.

🏕️ This place is one of my favourite spots for hiking in BC and while it’s difficult to get a camping spot, I recommend checking for cancellations regularly, as they happen often. If you aren’t able to score a spot, day visits are VERY worth it too.
Reservations are made through Parks Canada.

🥾 You can access the park by bus (which needs to be booked in advance) or by hiking (an extra 22 km round trip via the Lake O’Hara Fire Road).

✨ Most trails start right at Lake O’Hara. If you only have one day, I’d recommend the Opabin Prospect. You’ll get stunning views of both Lake O’Hara and Mary Lake, it’s absolutely breathtaking!

🗺️ If you’re staying overnight, here are my favourite hikes:
	•	McArthur Pass and Lake McArthur Trails
	•	Opabin Plateau Circuit
	•	Yukness Ledges Alpine Route

3 days / 2 nights is the perfect amount of time to explore as much as possible.

🌲 Lake O’Hara is very popular, but it’s not nearly as crowded as you might think, you won’t experience anything like the chaos of Moraine Lake or similar spots.

🌿 Please, please, please, respect these places: pack out everything you bring in, stay on trail, and follow Leave No Trace principles so we can keep them wild and beautiful 🤍

🥾 Follow @wandering_withdirtyfeet for more hiking, travel, camping, and solo adventure inspo in Canada and beyond. Happy exploring 👋
Tell me, what’s better than PB&J Stuffed French To Tell me, what’s better than PB&J Stuffed French Toast on a camping morning? A cooler that keeps everything fresh and makes setup easy. 🏕️🍓🍞

The Titan by @arcticzone 40 Can Collapsible Zipperless Cooler was the perfect companion for this overnight camping trip. It easily fit all of my food, has a 40 can capacity, and my favourite feature is that it collapses for easy storage when not in use.

I also love the multiple pockets and zippered compartments, the two side mesh pockets, and the detachable bottle opener. It’s so much more than just a cooler!

✨ PB&J Stuffed French Toast Recipe ✨

🍞Ingredients:
• Bread
• 4 eggs (for 2 sandwiches)
• Splash of oat milk (or milk of choice)
• Peanut butter
• Jam

🌿 A gentle reminder:
The Canadian Rockies are home to a high concentration of wildlife, from elk to bears to curious little ground squirrels. No matter how cute they look, never approach or feed them; it’s dangerous for you and for them. Stick to the trails, keep your distance, and never leave food or garbage behind. At picnic areas, use the wildlife-proof bins if available, or pack all your waste back into your car. Let’s keep these places wild and beautiful for everyone.

🥶Disclaimer: the weather there changes so quickly, and it is really windy and cold (like -6°C with wind chill in late May).

We trusted @columbiasportswear_ca for this adventure and, as always, the technology of their Titanium products saved us!

We loved wearing the Saudan Pro 3L Shell, with 30k/30k waterproofing and breathability, perfect for the rain and wind, and also super cute!

After a few downpours, we can confirm that the Tellurix Titanium OutDry shoes are totally waterproof, and we loved how grippy they are. Also, just as important, they look so stylish! We were especially drawn to the Cloud Grey / Charcoal colourway that Harley is wearing.

Our hiking pants were the Silver Ridge Elite Pants. They have also released a new model that converts into shorts, it’s so cool, check it out!

Columbia not only has reliable gear but also super cute and comfy pieces. I’m confident in saying they make the cutest fleeces, we were wearing the Helvetia and got lots of compliments!

Thanks for gearing us up and keeping us ready for all the crazy weather that Mother Nature throws our way!
